About Us

Air Shovel

A power tool shovel that can help people during a snow storm. The user would keep this tool in their trunk and instead of having to brush snow off of their car, they can turn on the shovel and let hot air do the work for them.
When the throttle grip is engaged, the tool will unleash a powerful blast of hot air, removing the snow using a force similar to a leaf blower.
Designed with a heated silicone-coated scoop, it will glide over surfaces, preventing any scratching while effectively melting away residual snow or ice build-ups.
Operates on the same type of battery a drill or other handheld power tool would use.

Food Spark

Food Spark is an app that handles all things food related. The app has 5 main features. A social network, food index, order/delivery system, virtual grocery store, and business manager.

Arctic Rescue Drone

This first responder drone is designed to help save snowboarders from avalanches and other injuries while in remote, hard to access areas.

Tesla Lamp: Experiment in wireless energy transfer

This concept lamp is an experiment in wireless energy transfer for use in everyday objects.
The main feature of the design is a Tesla Coil which can create an electromagnetic field around it, turning the bulb on without any attached power source.
The mesmerizing plasma ball above the Tesla coil not only wirelessly powers devices, but also emanates its effects on our mental state for enhanced thinking. Similar to gazing into a fire, the aura it creates can induce a calming effect and fuels creative thinking.

ReGrip: Empowering patients recovering from spinal cord injuries

In this research project, we had the privilege of working closely with two individuals who have faced challenges with hand mobility throughout their recovery process, after suffering from spinal cord injuries. Both participants were involved in car accidents, resulting in distinct hand mobility issues. While each person’s struggles were unique to their circumstances, we also identified commonalities in their needs. This study serves as an ongoing exploration of ways to empower individuals still recovering from spinal cord injuries or other nerve-related conditions.
